In the United States of America Buggies or Budgerigars are called Parakeets, but the real difference between the Parakeets and the Buggies is the fact that Parakeets has very long flat tails. Budgerigars come in many colours and they are very common as hold pets. However, more people are opting for the Amazons and Conure parrots.
